File Commander is an excellent and very comprehensive file manager, absolutely free, packed with features, tools and capabilities.

The key features of File Commander are these: preview the file contents without opening it; compressed files (in ZIP, 7ZIP or RAR) will be treated as ordinary folders, without having to include any external DLLs, additional very detailed information supplied on each file via the context menu, it can be run from USB flash drives, CD drives and, in general, from any portable drive.

It's very interesting that File Commander allows you to create your own scripts and adapt them to your needs. It also has powerful tools for searching and replacements, as well as its own clipboard.
